Minx nails have become the latest must have fashion accessory that has taken the States by storm, with celebs such as Victoria Beckham, Christina Aguillara, Rihanna and Beyonce appearing in glossy fashion magazines showing off their new Minx nails.

Minx was origanally invented by Janice Jordan, Minx chief executive, after getting frustrated with her nails wearing down while working at her vehicle graphics business, Janice says: "I'm hard on my nails so I had to come up with something that would work better. "I'm not an engineer, but I have an engineer's mind and I'm a problem solver."

After six months of developing her Idea Janice partnered with Dawn, an expert in the salon industry. The two tested the product in the market and found 100% of the salons they approached were interested, tried Minx, and wanted more. Because of the uniqueness of the product, word soon spread to magazines wanting to do stories on Minx. Realizing the damage that can happen when a company cannot supply demand Janice and Dawn ended the test with the conclusion they needed to set up the manufacturing facilities and infrastructure to support sales.
